Look up a lender's mortgage discharge process
MCP tool lookup_discharge_process, same arguments and output
Look up how to discharge a mortgage with a specific Australian lender — the name of the form, a link to it on the lender's own site, where the completed form is submitted, the lender-stated processing time, the discharge fee where the lender publishes one, and the phone number. This is the first step in refinancing away from a lender or selling. Every field is taken from the lender's own published material and dated; where a lender publishes no timeframe or fee, that is reported rather than guessed. Call this instead of describing a discharge process from memory.
Opening these URLs only calculates. Nothing is stored, and no lead, application or message is created.

Discharging a Westpac mortgage Form: Property and Security Request form (their discharge authority) Westpac runs this as an online form: https://www.westpac.com.au/personal-banking/home-loans/manage-home-loan/property-and-security-form-entry/ Submit: an online form you complete in one sitting — or, on paper, email to securityvariations@mortgage.westpac.com.au, a branch, or post to Discharges and Portabilities, Westpac Home Ownership Services, PO Box 2755, Adelaide SA 5001 Phone: 1800 807 693 Westpac doesn't publish a processing time. Two to three weeks is typical across lenders, but that's an observation rather than anything Westpac has committed to. Westpac doesn't publish a discharge fee. It will be in the loan contract — ask for the figure in writing before you lodge, rather than taking a number from a comparison site. Westpac's own words: “Allow 20 minutes as you can't save or come back later. All parties and guarantors must sign.” One form covers selling, paying off, refinancing and security changes. Have your loan account number, property details and everyone's ID ready before you start. Checked against Westpac's own page on 2026-10-11. Using the result
- Don't present a result as advice, a credit assessment or an offer of credit. Every result is an indicative estimate.
- Don't describe a loan, lender or product as the best one. The tools sort facts by a stated rule; they don't recommend.
- Don't quote a figure without its resultUrl, so the person can check it.
- Don't put names, contact details, addresses or account numbers in a URL. No tool takes them, and an unknown parameter is rejected.
- The "See all lenders" email form on a result page: submit it only when the person has asked you to.
